I can get writing characters from a show because you know them, the actors from the show we’ll never know what they are really like, and honestly, possibly not as interesting as their onscreen counterparts.
That’s a good point, because regardless of how much we know about these actors (facts, interviews and hearsay) and what is said about them from people who know them, most of us don’t actually know them or will even meet them. I’ve heard multiple times that Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch are nothing like their characters they portray in Sherlock. But without actually meeting these guys, most of us will never really know to what extent that goes. :P That’s part of how fame works…and acting of course. :D
