‘Cause I want to wait alongside the red carpet as well as viewing the ceremony inside the hall, I went to the Southbank since 5 am to queue for a wristband. Cooked by the sun for hours; my legs still hurting me. And if I said the result was not disappointing and outrageous I’d be lying. Anyway, they all look stunning yesterday on the UnionJack Carpet! You can never imagine how touched I was when Amanda recognised me (in a huge pair of sunglasses!) and came over and facing me.
Benedict looked ever so flattered and excited and relaxed. He was choked when I said to him he looked gorgeous in his SpencerH suits and grinned when I told him that we missed him so much and welcomed back London.
And congrats to Steven and Andrew! Honestly, they deserve everything.
P.S I missed Rupert cause I rushed to the entrance of the carpet after Benedict finished signing in the area I was waiting.
my men in suits.
Ben with his slick hair and slick suit.
Andrew with his tousled hair and slightly crooked bowtie.
The awkward moment when Benedict Cumberbatch calls the Sherlockians ‘intelligent’, while Andrew Scott goes for ‘lunatics’…
