Ooo super jealous I don’t have the means or time to make any Hobbit gifs or graphics. Not only do I have no idea HOW so many of you make these posts so quickly, I’m also in the middle of my work shift. I came home at this time for lunch just to see this trailer!

I have the same problem. It’s such a pain!

I fooled tumblr for a few months making it think I was using Internet Explorer 10 then 9 so the old interface would come up. Not anymore starting today!

Now I got to see if customized photosets work anymore or not. That’s the BIG one for me, but I haven’t made one in awhile…so I guess I’m about to find out!

Update: Well my customized photoset still works but now I don’t have a choice on which interface I use for the rest of tumblr and my replies are more inconvenient. Wonder how much longer my customized photosets will last…dang it!

Biggest reason why I don’t like the recent updated format of tumblr?

Has nothing to do with the little inconveniences. But the new interface runs so slow on my computer (and Google Chrome) it is absolutely ridiculous. THAT’S why it’s a pain in the ass for me.

I didn’t need these fancy pop up windows and whatnots. My computer is older, my internet connection probably far from being the fastest and most convenient, so I didn’t need the interface updated into something shinier and prettier.

YEAH. I’m using an older version of tumblr, so that’s part of the problem so that’s my own fault. Famous people’s names come up fairly easily now in the new interface…

BUT YEAH A LIST OPTION WOULD BE FANTASTIC.

Dear tumblr,

Please stop forgetting my tags. I am tired of trying to repeatedly remember how to spell some people’s last names when you forget their tag again. I’m good, but not that good.

Tonight was the night I was planning to have a NSFW Sherlock fan art reblogging session.

Alright, I’ve updated Tumblr Savior to work with the new Tumblr dashboard. I’m only releasing v0.4.6 for Chrome and Firefox at the moment since I don’t see the new dashboard on Safari or Opera. I’ll keep checking back every few days to see if they get updated as well and will push out a release for those browsers when they need it.

I’m a bit peeved at Tumblr for this update. It sucks to have to support different versions of the dashboard for different browsers. I don’t understand why they are restricting the new dashboard to just Chrome and Firefox. The fact that they aren’t talking about this update at all doesn’t help either. Get it together Tumblr!

FYI, I had to manually install the update and then restart my browser to get it to work. That’s not criticism of TS because TS IS A LIFE SAVER AND I LOVE IT. Just so you know if you can’t get the update to work. <3
